Role and Responsibilities Work as a Project Engineer, serving as the technical lead and/or design authority for Process Automation engineering projects in the Blending & Formulation Systems business line, both in the US and globally, providing technical support, details, and deliverables to existing and prospective customers. The work model for this role can be either hybrid or remote. This role contributes to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division in Houston, TX, or Cleveland, OH. Key responsibilities include evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments, supporting testing, installation, and commissioning activities, and assisting in preparing project proposals and presentations. Utilize checklists for design verification according to standards and guidelines. Team Dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high-performing team where you can thrive. Qualifications At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably with PLC and/or DCS systems. Experience with Batch MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is preferred. Experience working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, and utilizing feedback for project improvements. Ability to develop and review standard processes, tools, and techniques, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual requirements. Experience in creating work plans, budgets, and risk assessments within engineering disciplines. Support contract managers in claims related to scope changes, including assessing costs, time impacts, and risks. Assist customers in resolving technical issues remotely and on-site in the US and globally. Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
