Horizon Vascular Specialists, a premier healthcare company located in Montgomery & Frederick County Maryland is looking for a billing specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum a two years’ experience in medical billing. * This is an in-office position - not hybrid or work for home. *
* ASC billing experience preferred
* Vascular/Cardiology experience recommended
* Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commerical Insurances
* Strong understanding of insurance processes, denials and appeals
Key Responsibilities:
* Payment posting & Reconciliation
* Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquires
* Follow up on unpaid claims and initiate appeals when necessary
* Review and correct claim errors
