Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning coffee machines and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Upsell and promote additional products or specials to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Sales skills to upsell products and increase revenue
- Basic food preparation skills for assisting with menu items
