The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
• Manage Integrated schedules for element (facility) projects
• Resources tracking and analysis, possible critical path development
• Interface with flow management, project managers, engineering, shop, area integrators and other planners and
schedulers, to update the daily schedules and respond to changes and issues.
• Will participate in daily telecom, scheduling and paper status/ closure meetings. Demonstrate the ability to
manage multiple projects and priorities which pertain to operations support.
• Perform work control management process duties including, but not limited to, flight paper system
management from inception to closure working with Space Flight Engineering and Paper Closure Team.
• Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite and Maximo experience required. Experience with
Milestone Professional may be needed.
