Job Description
Busy workers' compensation firm seeking to hire a newly admitted attorney who will be trained to attend remote hearings, prepare appeals and rebuttals, prepare claimants for trials, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, conduct file reviews, and give guidance to paralegals and legal assistants in order to properly handle claims.
Applicant must be admitted to practice in NYS;
Applicant must be able to multitask;
Applicant must feel comfortable handling a busy calendar and depositions;
Applicant must be comfortable using a computer and computer programs;
Applicant must be organized;
Applicant must thrive in negotiations;
Applicant must be a people's person;
Applicant must be fast on their feet;
Applicant must work well under deadlines; and
Applicant must have the ability to work independently.
