We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead day-to-day operations and support the General Manager in driving team performance and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in hospitality management, excels in motivating teams, and can confidently provide feedback, set clear goals, and uphold high service standards. This role requires someone who can step in seamlessly when the General Manager is unavailable and keep operations running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who leads by example—firm yet approachable—with strong organizational skills and a passion for developing others. A commitment to continuous learning, adaptability during challenges, and a positive influence on team morale are all essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in all aspects of planning and operations
Provide leadership and guidance to the team during service
Delegate daily tasks effectively and follow through
Maintain strong working relationships across departments
Uphold guest satisfaction and ensure exceptional service delivery
Address issues promptly and professionally
Supervise staff and oversee inventory controls
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Train, coach, and develop team members
Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
Ability to give clear, constructive feedback
Detail-oriented with great observational skills
Proficient in basic computer programs and math
Skilled at identifying areas of improvement and providing coaching
