Accountant Assistant Location: Texarkana, TX Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: $50,000-$60,000/year, depending on experience A growing hospitality group with multiple hotel properties is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to oversee financial operations across several locations. This is a full-time, on-site position. Key Responsibilities: * Manage daily accounting activities for multiple hotel properties * Prepare monthly financial statements, general ledgers, and bank reconciliations * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions * Handle full-cycle payroll processing including tax filings and quarterly/year-end reports * Provide HR support such as onboarding paperwork, benefits tracking, and compliance documentation * Prepare and file required tax reports including tourism, sales, liquor, and short-term rental taxes * Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring * Ensure compliance with brand, state, and federal financial and HR regulations * Collaborate with hotel managers and company leadership on financial reviews and audits Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-entity businesses * Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting * Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Familiarity with Arkansas and Texas tax regulations preferred * Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills * High attention to detail and ability to follow structured systems #SRGTExarkana #TexarkanaSRG PandoLogic.
